How WordFrame Community Works ...

WordFrame Community take collaboration to a new level, making it easy for users to work together on documents, tasks, contacts, events, and share information. In addition, community managers can coordinate community content and user activity easily. The WordFrame Community environment is designed for easy and flexible deployment and administration - you can create a new community in seconds and arrange your site in any hierarchy or group structure that makes sense to you.

Communities
WordFrame Community provides places to capture and share ideas, information, communication, and documents. The communities facilitate team participation in discussions, shared document collaboration, and surveys. Site content is accessible from any supported Web browser within Windows, Apple Mac or Linux operating systems. Each community can be public or private, and flexible access rights can be granted to administrators, moderators, members, regular users or guests.

Empowering Users and Social Networking
WordFrame community members can find, connect and communicate with key contacts and experts, both by e-mail and with personal messaging. Site content can be easily searched, and users can also receive alerts to tell them when existing documents and information have been changed, or when new information or documents have been added.

Corporate Blogging Platform
The WordFrame Community functionality can easily be used for group or corporate blogging. Every user in a WordFrame community can create posts with categories, tags and commenting, with all the ability to include YouTube videos, or photos from Flickr, or widget style functions that you would expect in any top quality blog platform. However, ours has been designed to work as a multi-user, scalable environment from the start. Content is organized in to a user's own blog, and can additionally be published in any of the available public or private communities that user has access to.

Web publishing or Aggregation Site
WordFrame Community can be used as a web publishing tool to link, organize and present different categories of content to different groups and audiences. Content can be created by the registered users, or automatically posted from any external blog's RSS feed - our autopost facility. Many of our users use the platform to aggregate content from a number of different bloggers and publishers, and we have standard facilities to integrate advertising and ad server solutions in to your site.

Community Management
WordFrame community managers can choose from a library of theme styles and customize the content and layout of communities to ensure that members can access and work with important and relevant information. Members' participation can be monitored and moderated when necessary. You can even watch for or ban content word by word to avoid unfortunate language. Security and task responsibilities are both flexible and easily accessible. Well-designed lists and entire community can be saved as templates and reused.

Administration and Deployment
WordFrame Community can scale to thousands of communities on a single platform installation. You can chose to have your communities hosted by us (on demand or Software as a Service) , implemented on your own servers, or as an appliance that we install in your network. In any of these cases, we take responsibility for managing the platform and keeping the software versions up to date.
